A commitment to excellence
Currie Kendall is committed to the continuous education of its attorneys and support personnel. Our clients expect us to be current with every legal matter before us and we expect no less from ourselves. The continuing legal education of our entire staff takes place in a variety of ways. We attend or take on demand online seminars through the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) and other national organizations. We maintain an extensive law library which includes a subscription to all ICLE online books and publications as well as computer-assisted legal research. Instant computer access to legal publications and judicial decisions throughout the state and nationwide allows us to stay on top of precedent-setting legal decisions.
We also participate in the National Association of College and University Attorneys and the Michigan Association of Municipal Attorneys email list services which provide daily updates on issues and legislation affecting higher education and public entities as well as provide a network of knowledge and experience from attorneys practicing in these areas throughout the country.
This commitment to continuing education and research capacity is designed to provide reliable and comprehensive legal services.
A commitment to community
Currie Kendall employees are active in the community. We volunteer our time and resources to numerous endeavors including crime prevention, the arts, health and human service groups, community foundations, economic development organizations and chambers of commerce. You will find us actively supporting the community and sharing our experience and legal knowledge. We believe this service enriches each of us individually, as well as helping the communities in which we live and work.
We are often your neighbors and friends or professional colleagues. And, as your law firm, we stand ready to be your legal advocates as well.
The advantages of a regional law firm

It takes planning and legal understanding to avoid the many pitfalls in today's society. This is true for individuals and for businesses. The right law firm with a range of services and experienced attorneys can make the difference in the decisions that affect your life. This is why current clients remain with Currie Kendall. And this is why new clients select Currie Kendall.
